Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that determines if and when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated.

- The system is beginning to ramp up but then stops more often than not
- The heating and AC system is unable to start nor will it stay running for any length of time
