International Comfort Products CHP018AKA1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the air handler that determines when the heated air is warm enough to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
Signs of a barely functioning critical limit switch
- The HVAC system is beginning to erratically often
- The heating and cooling system will not initiate or will not stay running for any length of time
