International Comfort Products CHP024AKA1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the air handler that can determine when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches are built because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What are some indications that my main limit switch is not working right?
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well like it should
- The International Comfort Products system begins to run inconsistently repeatedly
