International Comfort Products CHP236AKA1 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that determines when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. This is important because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough.
What warnings are present when my limit type switch really is about to stop working?
- The whole system is starting to behave differently more often than not
- The HVAC system refuses to start or run well longer that five minutes
