Limit switches were created because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that makes the determination when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
Major indications of a weak limit type switch
- The system starts to run inconsistently frequently
- Your International Comfort Products system will not initiate or continue to run longer that five minutes
