Your furnace or AC will not activate without the main control board accurately installed and configured. The control board is created to direct the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the various sensors as well as the blower all together. You must do some research when you are deciding on a replacement due to the vast differences in models within certain brands. A control board that you have chosen will need to be a match with your existing board and be compatible with both the brand and specific model of the unit you have installed.

- The HVAC system is unable to operate whatsoever
- When turned on, there is a certain error code shown directly somewhere on the board
- The whole system needs to be reset often for everything to run again
