A transformer is used in many applications including heating and cooling systems as it is used to convert electrical output from one voltage to another. If any transformer needs to be swapped out, it would be good to get one that is assessed for the correct voltage that is needed. Heating and cooling transformers can all be different so be sure you replace it with the same voltage requirements.
