International Comfort Products GPSM36H080F Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor whose rated resistance depends on the amount of, or lack thereof, heat. The system control board reads the temperature in some specific areas of the system to be sure everything is going well. They inform the system when a certain temperature has been reached.
