International Comfort Products H8DNL075F16A1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that makes the determination if and when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. Limit switches were created because if the air never warms up then the house will never get warm enough.
What to see if the limit switch most likely is almost dead?
- The HVAC system refuses to kick in nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
- Your system starts to run inconsistently occasionally
