International Comfort Products H8DNL100F14A1 Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor that has a fluctuating resistance that varies depending on the temperature at its location. They notify the circuit board when a certain temperature has been reached. The system control board interprets the temperature in a few critical areas to be sure everything is going well.
What to see if the system thermister is crapping out?
- Main blower fails in its attempt to ramp up to full speed
- The initial sequence could never start up depending on which is the thermistor that is the problematic one
