International Comfort Products H8MPT050B12B1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that can determine if and when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
What are some hints that my main limit switch is failing?
- The HVAC system is unable to start or run like it should
- The whole system begins to run inconsistently more often than not
