A transformer is used for many products including your AC or furnace as it changes a normal current of electricity to an altered voltage to be used for some particular device. Heating and cooling transformers are all different so be sure you replace it with the same voltage needs. If you have to replace a transformer, make sure to purchase on that is rated for the exact voltage that is required.
Simple warnings that your main transformer is in need of a replacement?
- The volt dropping transformer shows cracks or fractures or perhaps smokes when it has electricity going through it
