International Comfort Products H9MPD100J14A1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that determines when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. A limit switch was crafted because if the air never warms up the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What are some hints that my limit switch most likely is on its last leg?
- Your International Comfort Products system will not begin the ignition sequence or run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system is starting to shut down unexpectedly more than once
