If you need to replace one, be sure to purchase a transformer that is correctly measured to the right voltage that will be demanded by the device. Heating and cooling transformers are all different and must adhere to strict necessary voltage readings.
Symptoms of a barely functioning electrical transformer
- The volt dropping transformer physically appears cracked or may look broken while in use
- Incorrectly sized volts is found coming from the system transformer
- Extremely low voltage analyzed departing the system transformer using a voltmeter
