A thermistor is a thermal resistor, whose resistance is contingent on the thermal temperature. They convey to the HVAC system when a certain temperature in increasing or decreasing. The system needs to know the temperature in some specific areas of the system to ensure that things are as they should be.

- Blower motor could never begin to begin to get up to full speed
