In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a certain type of resistor that has a fluctuating resistance that is contingent on the current temperature. They can tell the main board when a certain temperature reaches a certain point. The control board reads the temperature in some specific areas of the system to do its job as it should.
What are some indications that my thermister is not working properly?
