A conversion kit allows a furnace to switch energy sources from one energy source to something different, maybe from natural gas to propane that needs to be delivered or vice versa. Energy conversion kits are not available for all furnaces. Purchasing is only available for those that are built for switching. If you are able to find one it may be better to have it set up by your local HVAC guy, for you and your familys safety.
