International Comfort Products N9MP1100F14C2 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air never warms up the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Cues of a worsening critical limit switch
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or will not stay running even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system starts to become inconsistent on more than one occasion
