Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. The limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that determines when the heated air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.

- The heating and cooling system will not even start or run longer that five minutes
