The ventilation motor is intended to redistribute air and excess gas out from the furnace.This blower is also referred to as a draft inducer blower, as it will deliver necessary draft for a much cleaner and much safer gas combustion.
Important clues of a deteriorating draft inducer
- No current is arriving to the interior of the draft motor when it is supposed to
- Draft motor does not run at some point of the starting process
