International Comfort Products NAC260GKA1 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that will dependably sense the flame when the system starts. Because of the safety issues involved, if the flame sensor senses a problem the furnace will not start until the problem is dealt with.
Red flags of a poorly working flame sensor
- Your gas furnace cannot start no matter what
- The furnace will start occasionally when it thinks it should
- The LP or natural gas has problems trying to properly ignite and the system throws an error code
