The limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation.
Major symptoms of an inadequate critical limit switch
- System will not initiate nor will it stay running longer than 30 seconds
- The whole system begins to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly on a regular basis
