International Comfort Products NDC7100BHA1 Transformer
A transformer is quite common in electrical appliances including your HVAC system as it is used to convert electrical output and switches it to a different voltage range. If you need to replace one, be sure to buy one properly rated for the exact voltage that will be needed by the system. Heating and cooling transformers are specialized components so be sure you replace it with the same volts called for with the original.
What to see if the converting transformer is not working right?
- Little or no power exiting a main transformer block while tested with the unit on
- Incorrect voltage is determined across the chief transformer
- Voltage transformer looks like it is ready to fall apart or have a burning smell while the system is turned on
