International Comfort Products PA5530AKA1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that senses, or governs, when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. This is important due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What are some hints that my limit switch is on its last leg?
- The HVAC system refuses to start or will not stay running like it is supposed to
- The International Comfort Products system begins to behave erratically more than once
