International Comfort Products PGAD60E1K5 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Subtle hints critical limit switch should need replacing
- The heating and AC system will not initiate or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system starts to act weird on a regular basis
