International Comfort Products PGMD48G0908 Limit Switch
Limit switches are built due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower.
Some clues of a declining limit switch
- The heating and cooling system will not even start nor will it stay running longer than 30 seconds
- The HVAC system is beginning to runs uneven on more than one occasion
