A basic electrical transformer is a regular occurrence in most things electrical including your HVAC system as it is used to convert electrical output from a particular voltage to a different one. Heating and cooling transformers are all different so be sure you replace it with the same electrical needs. If a replacement is necessary, then be sure to replace it with one that is properly measured to the right voltage that is needed.
