The control board is designed to regulate the gas valve, the igniter, all the sensors as well as the blower all in one unit. Be very careful when you choose a replacement due to so many small differences in heating and cooling systems. The correct control board will need to pair with the part number from the brand and the model of furnace or air handler you have.
