In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor that has a fluctuating resistance that is solely dependent on temperature. They can tell the main board when a certain temperature has been reached. The system control board takes the temperature throughout the whole system to do its job correctly.
What are some indications that my thermister is almost going bad?
