International Comfort Products T8DNL075B12B1 Limit Switch
Limit switches exist because if the warmed air is too cool then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that decides when the heated air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
How do you know when your limit switch is on its last leg?
- The system starts to become unpredictable on more than one occasion
- The heating and AC system is unable to start or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
