International Comfort Products T8DNL125L20B1 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. The limit switch is a switch in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
Some warnings limit switch has to be replaced
- The HVAC system will not even start or run longer that five minutes
- The HVAC system is starting to run inconsistently more often than not
