International Comfort Products T8MPL075F16A1 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that decides when the heated air is warmed to a point that it can be circulated throughout the house. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough.
Indications critical limit switch is failing
- The HVAC system starts to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly often
- The heating and AC system refuses to start or run well longer than a minute
