International Comfort Products T8MPT050B12B1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that makes the determination when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Some clues of a weak limit type switch
- The heating and AC system refuses to start or run well like it is supposed to
- The HVAC system is beginning to run erratically frequently
