International Comfort Products T8MPT125J20B1 Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that can determine if and when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What red flags are there that my chief limit switch is dying?
- Your International Comfort Products system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The whole system starts to behave erratically from time to time
