The limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. Limit switches exist because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What warnings are present when my limit switch is not working properly?
