International Comfort Products T9MPD050F12C2 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough. The limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
What are the signs that the main limit switch is almost going bad?
- Your system is starting to ramp up but then stops repeatedly
- The heating and AC system will not begin or continue to run as it should
