International Comfort Products T9MPD100J20C1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that determines when the heated air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
What red flags are there that my limit switch is on its last leg?
- The heating and cooling system refuses to kick in nor will it stay running like it should
- The whole system begins to runs spotty more than once
