A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that can determine when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts.

- The heating and cooling system will not initiate nor will it stay running like it should
- The International Comfort Products system is starting to initiate and then stops from time to time
