The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that decides when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What warnings are present when my limit switch is not working right?
