International Comfort Products TNK125N20A1 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What symptoms are present when the critical limit switch is about to go out?
- The heating and cooling system will not initiate nor will it stay running like it ought to
- The HVAC system starts to behave erratically on more than one occasion
