International Comfort Products VNE075F14A1 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heating area that determines if and when the air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
What red flags are there that my chief limit switch is crapping out?
- System is unable to start nor will it stay running even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system is starting to ramp up but then stops from time to time
