Kenmore 661624670 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air never warms up the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that can determine when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
Major clues limit switch has to be replaced
- System is unable to start nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
- Your system is beginning to behave differently often
