The defrost sensor control board is jobbed with determining when to begin the defrost cycle in order to keep your outdoor unit from plugging up. The defrost sensor board is relayed information from a sensor located somewhere by the condenser to make the decision on when the defrost cycle should begin.
Important hints the defrost sensor board will eventually need to be replaced
