LG ARUN160LT2 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that decides if and when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Indications of a defective critical limit switch
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well as it should
- The system starts to runs uneven on a regular basis
