LG LMAN090CNS Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that can reliably detect the acceptable flame when igniting the system. Due to safety concerns, if the flame sensor is triggered the system remains completely shut down for as long as the problem remains.
How do you know if your flame sensor has to be replaced?
- The propane or natural gas has difficulty trying to begin an ignition sequence no matter what
- The whole system runs sporadically at the stroke of midnight after the second full moon following the second Sunday of the month
- The furnace is unable to fire up and spits out an error code on the main board
