The heat element makes the air heated prior to the blower having it distributed through the ducts. Your heating system cannot produce the heated air to efficiently heat, if your heating element is unable to work as it should.
Major warnings poorly running heat element
- Heat is not being delivered by the system for an extended period of time
- The element itself has difficulty in its ability to heat up or get to max heat temp anymore
- The element looks old, charred and looks like it should be replaced
