The LG LMU240HE control board is designed to control the gas valve, the igniter, all the sensors as well as the blower all in one unit. Heating and cooling systems will not even run unless the control board is in place and connected. Be very careful when you decide to replace your control board because of the diversity of brand and air handler types. The board that you will choose must be compatible with both the brand and model of your heating and cooling system.
