A limit switch was crafted because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heating area that senses, or governs, when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
