LG LP1200DXR Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a thermal resistor, that has a fluctuating resistance that is governed by temperature at its location. They notify the system control board when a temperature reaches a certain point. The main control board takes the temperature in order to do its job correctly.
How do you know if your system thermister is about to go out?
- Main blower could fail to begin to engage full speed spinning
- The entire system could possibly not even begin depending on which is the thermistor that is damaged
