LG LP1200SDR Filter
The filter is designed to be good at trapping really small dust parts and other particles as it passes through. This can both make the unit cleaner and make it work much more efficient while also filtering the air you breathe. During regular maintenance the filter should probably be changed out or perhaps washed periodically depending on how much you use it.
Some warnings your main filter is failing
- It is highly advised to replace the filter about every 90 days in order to have clean air running through the unit
- The system air filter looks brown and could be replaced ASAP
- If you hold it up to the light, it does not shine through to the other side of the air filter
